Dr. Gosin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Medical College. He completed his General Surgery residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he served as Chief Surgical Resident, and went on to complete an accredited fellowship in Vascular Surgery there. During his training, he received extensive experience in traditional open vascular surgery and minimally invasive procedures, conducted medical research, and published numerous papers in scientific journals.
Dr. Gosin has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques and emerging medical technology, and he continually works to bring the most advanced therapies to his patients. He was the first surgeon in the region to perform a stent graft repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, a technique that has since become the standard of care for most patients. As a leader in minimally invasive vascular and vein treatment, he has trained other physicians who have traveled to his center to learn these techniques.
His dedication to treating the circulatory system led to the founding of Shore Vascular & Vein Center, formerly known as Jersey Shore Center for Vascular Health. In 2003, Dr. Gosin became Chief of Vascular Surgery at Shore Memorial Hospital (now Shore Medical Center) and Medical Director of The CardioVascular Institute at the hospital.
Outside of caring for his patients, Dr. Gosin enjoys travel, boating, the beach, sports, and spending time with his wife and three children.
